CIRENCESTER can make it sweet 16 if they avoid defeat at old rivals Cinderford tomorrow.

Brian Hughes' side are unbeaten for a club record 15 games in the Western Division following the 2-0 win over Gresley Rovers last weekend.

With Cinderford languishing in the bottom two, the prospect looks straightforward and Ciren should continue to hound leaders Redditch at the top of the table.

But the Centurions have a poor record at the Causeway and Hughes has watched the strugglers at close quarters and warns that they could threaten the unbeaten run.

He said: "I watched Cinderford lose 3-1 to Mangotsfield in the week, and 3-1 flattered Mangotsfield so it won't be easy.

"We haven't lost for 15 games and they haven't won for 15, but something's got to give at some point for both teams."

Hughes will welcome back Scott Griffin and Darren Robison from suspension with Jody Bevan and Mike Davis likely to be sacrificed, but Adam Mayo is banned after overstepping the yellow card limit.

In the Eastern Division, Salisbury entertain Ashford.

Victory could lift Nick Holmes' team up to third in the table.
