Leaving aside the merits of opening bus lanes to all vehicles between 7pm and 7am (what was wrong with restricting this to motorcycles and hackney carriages?) I am bemused that signage to show the proposed changes will cost £20,000.
It is the spending of this sort of money which baffles many of us as we attempt to comprehend just how such a figure is arrived at.
You should be able to buy a lot of signage for £20,000 is this a case of the council once again failing to obtain value for money ?
