Michael Wills has got a cheek (letters Feb 25) saying that what puts people off politics is campaigners like me being rude about politicians like him!
Perhaps folks are disillusioned with politics because the government went ahead with a war despite two million on the streets opposing it?
Michael tries to pull off a sleight of hand by saying that by being rude about him I am disrespectful of ordinary Swindon people who supported the war. Rubbish. I am disrespectful of our MPs because they had the opportunity to question the government and vote to prevent the war.
