ONCE again complaints have come in regarding litter, as stated in the Evening Advertiser on February 19, 2004.
It was asked if something could be done about keeping the town centre clean and tidy. The answer is simple people should stop dropping litter on the floor and use one of the many bins throughout the town centre.
It is the "litterbugs" who are the problem - not Swindon Services' hardworking street cleaners. (For your information, cleaning takes place constantly throughout the day). I would hope people would not littler in their own homes so why do it on the streets!
A little more civic pride in our public places is all that is needed.
