THE snow put paid to in-form Ring-wood Town's fixture against Lymington Town on Saturday, giving them some respite ahead of a busy week.

They travel to Stockbridge on Saturday and Hythe & Dibden on Tuesday, both sides they beat 2-1 at home in October.

Manager Bob Lane said: "I got a phone call from the groundsman and he said that he wouldn't be confident of clearing the snow even with four or five hours work on it. Sometimes you want to keep momentum going but we have a busy week coming up.

"Our next two opponents are not on their best form at the moment but Stockbridge are always difficult to play against, particularly on their own patch. We won at Hythe last year so we want to repeat that but it won't be easy."
