PUPILS at Bishops Cannings Primary School have been learning about staying healthy.
The pupils enjoyed a week long series of events last month that involved practitioners visiting the school and explaining what they do.
The youngsters tried modern dancing, tai chi, tag rugby, pilates and other activities.
David Wade, the school's headteacher, said: "The healthy school week was about giving the pupils an opportunity to try things."
Also during the week a quiet area was opened in the school grounds by Tony Adamson, chairman of the parish council.
The idea for the quiet area came from the school council which includes pupils. The Friends of the School raised the money.
