COLLEGE JOBS EXCLUSIVE: Swindon College has 3,000 full-time students and 12,000 part-timers
It employs 1,100 people
The college has two main sites at Regent Circus and North Star. Students are also taught at sites in Euclid Street and Ferndale Road
A range of courses is available, from A-levels and NVQs to degrees and Higher National Diplomas
In September next year, the college is scheduled to move into a new, purpose-built centre at North Star. This will consist of the existing building plus two new blocks. The Regent Circus site will be sold
The move hit a hurdle in October last year when preferred developer Complex Development Projects pulled out of a bid to buy the Regent Circus site. The building was put on the market for £7m and the college is currently negotiating with a new bidder.
