PLANS to restore a pair of old cottages on Wellington Place, off Marlborough High Street, are upsetting neighbours.
The owner of number 1/2 wants to divide it back into two properties.
Marlborough Town Council supports the proposal, which goes before Kennet District Council's regulatory committee on March 11, with a recommendation by officers for approval.
The plans involve a flat-roofed extension over a rear courtyard and a gabled roof extension. It's proposed to open up the original door to number one that was bricked up when the two cottages were knocked into one.
Five letters of objection have been received.
The officers are, however, happy that concerns which resulted in an earlier refusal of permission have been addressed.
