PREPARATIONS for a second D-may parade in Penhill on June 6 are under way.
The procession and service, which follows in the wake of last year's successful event, is scheduled to be attended by the deputy mayor of Swindon, Peter Stoddart.
Veterans from around the county are expected to take part along with serving soldiers from Colerne and local cadets.
The parade will be starting from St Peter's Church in Penhill Drive at 10.45am and will march to the cenotaph in Downton Road, before adjourning to the Royal British Legion Club nearby for refreshments.
