Fitness fanatics from Swindon-based hi-tech company Intel are preparing to swap computer screens for running shorts at next month's Bath half marathon
The team will raise cash for the Anthony Nolan Trust, which provides bone marrow and stem cell transplants for patients suffering from leukaemia and other bone marrow-related illnesses.
Alan Sergeant, 25, a product marketing analyst, of Old Town said: "I am a regular runner, but have never run as part of a team.
"There's some healthy in-team competitive talk there seem to be a few scores to settle."
His colleague, marketing manager, Nick Day, 33, said: "I'm not really nervous but don't want to come last out of the team. Everyone is currently talking down their chances, which I don't believe."
The total amount raised by the team at the event on March 14 will be matched by Intel.
