GAZETTE & HERALD: BACK at work following a televised blind date in Madrid, beauty shop owner Laura Tinson said she is still looking for love.

The 23-year-old owner of Nails.com in Sheldon Road, Chippenham, made her second appearance on ITV dating show Love on a Saturday Night last weekend, where viewers watched her and the date she had chosen, spend four romantic days in Spain.

Although she had a fantastic time, she said her date won't be leading to a long-term commitment.

"I chose Mr Red a guy called Alex Clemie who is at university in Manchester and although he was lovely, he was only 20 and a little too young for me," she said.

"We got on really well though and we're going to keep in touch. We had a fantastic time away."

Laura, who has a one-year-old daughter, Faith, watched the televised date with her family on Saturday night and said she's still amazed that she got to appear on the popular show.

"I've since found out that 4,000 people auditioned to take part, so being picked was amazing and it was such a thrilling thing to take part in," she said.

But it wasn't her first time on television she appeared on the Channel 4 reality beauty parlour programme, The Salon, last year.

"I got the bug when I appeared on The Salon and that was what prompted me to apply," she said.
