Basingstoke U13 10

THIS home match was Chippenham's first game for four weeks and they started looking rusty. Mistakes came thick and fast especially in their decision making.

George Moore, Toby Symington and Myles Cavendish all contributed with one each. Liam Baker added one conversion.

Afterwards coach Kevin Ingram said: "This match was useful to try players in different positions and use different combinations. There was good performances from Edward Whipp and Myles Hickman on his return to the team.''

Next weekend, the Under 13s travel away to Dursley and later this month play in the final of The Wiltshire Cup which is being played at Chippenham.

Ingram said: "The venue was all down to the flip of a coin and it came down in our favour. The competition for places is very strong. They are want to play in the final.''
