PERHAPS Steve Pascall (letters, February 26) should rise a little earlier. I have frequently seen our excellent road sweeper working in the High Street first thing in the morning.
His work is not made any easier by the current crop of litter droppers. There are plenty of litter bins about and it would be good if we all used them.
I notice that this problem of litter is often on the parts of the pavements not under council ownership and I have often witnessed shop fronts being swept by the staff or owners of these establishments.
I suggest Mr Pascall does likewise outside his own property.
