A NUMBER of footpaths across Swindon are to be subject to maintenance work. From Monday until March 15, work will be carried out on paths around Walcot West.
From March 15 work will be undertaken on paths in the Lawn area.
The scheme will improve the surface of the footpaths and should make them safer for pedestrians.
The work, carried out by Wilson and Scott, will cost about £36,850 and will take about four weeks to complete.
A council spokesman said: "Residents were notified seven days in advance and will be again 48 hours before the work starts.
"Some inconvenience may be experienced but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum."
