JACK Gentle only scored once in Amesbury's 9-0 win at Castle Combe but he had a hand in the other eight.

With defeats for their nearest rivals in the under 13 Blue division, Amesbury moved two points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand.

Scorers were Chris Fower (6), Tom Williams, Scott Atkins and Gentle.

UNDER 16 BLUE DIVISION

Bemerton Heath Harlequins intensified the pressure on leaders Trowbridge Town Youth after running out 7-0 winners at home to Bath Arsenal. Bemerton saw goals from Joe Sanger (4), Marvin Brown, Jack Slade and Matthew Cox.

Trowbridge Town Youth took a 2-0 lead at the break in their away game against AFC Corsham United increasing their lead to 3-0 early in the second half.

Corsham got one back before Trowbridge sealed their win with a fourth to finish 4-1 winners. Mark Dolman scored for Corsham.

UNDER 16 RED DIVISION

Warminster Highbury need two points from their last two games to finish this seasons division winners following their 2-1 win away to AFC Corsham. Liam Reed and Sam Landry scored for Highbury.

UNDER 15 BLUE DIVISION

Westbury Youth kept their championship hopes intact with a magnificent home win against Trowbridge Town Youth, unbeaten in the league. Mike Perret opened the scoring in Trowbridge's favour early in the second half.

A triple substitution by Westbury saw an immediate result with Dave Thompson poking in the equaliser and Matthew Smith scoring the winner just five minutes later.

An understrength Trowbridge Wanderers ran out with just eight men in their away game against Devizes Town Youth to see the home side take the game 8-0. Dan Sloane (3), Jamie Selby (2), Pat Preece, Ashley Grover and Jamie Lawrence scored for Devizes.

UNDER 15 RED DIVISION

Warminster Highbury took a 3-2 half time lead in their home game against Durrington Rangers. Rangers used the wind to their advantage in the second half, denying Highbury and scoring a further two to finish 4-3 winners. Matthew Palframan (2) and Anthony Hotine scored for Highbury.

FC Chippenham strengthened their hopes for runners up slot with a clear 5-0 home win against Lavington Bandits. Daniel Clements 3 and Stefan Klukowski scored for Chippenham.

UNDER 14 BLUE DIVISION

Chippenham Town Youth needed to win their last game by six clear goals against local rivals FC Chippenham to take this season's title.

Both sides struggled with the bad weather on a heavy pitch but Chippenham Town took the lead in the first half at 1-0. The second half saw a determined Chippenham Town but at the final whistle they had failed in their mission with only a 4-1 final score to see them finish this season as runners-up, level on points with winners Trowbridge Town Youth. Liam Brown (2), Ross McCance and Thomas Ingell scored for Chippenham Town Youth.

UNDER 14 GREEN DIVISION

Amesbury Juniors move a step closer to finishing runners up in this division with a 2-0 away win against Shaw & Whitley in their penultimate game.

UNDER 13 BLUE DIVISION

Last week's leaders, Trowbridge Wanderers, went down in a surprise defeat away to Chippenham Town Youth. Wanderers took a 1-0 lead at the break but a second half hat-trick for Zak Klukowski and one for Lee Hunt saw the points go Chippenham's way with a 4-1 final score.

Third-placed Salisbury Juniors also dented their championship hopes in another surprise defeat away to Trowbridge Town Youth. Trowbridge took a 2-1 half-time lead then secured their win with a third in the second half to finish 3-1 winners. Tom Bonser and Danny Talbot (2) scored for Trowbridge.

UNDER 12 BLUE DIVISION

Trowbridge Wanderers ran out 13-0 winners in their penultimate game of the season away to Amesbury Juniors. Wanderers saw goals from Skip Ayoub, Ryan Spong (2), Joe Stradling and a treble hat trick (9) from Declan Harrison.

Substitute keeper Ryan Kubilius was caught napping in goal for Chippenham Town Youth when Devizes took the lead within the first ten seconds. Kubilius redeemed himself with an outstanding performance denying Devizes further goals and seeing his side take the game at 6-1. Elliott Corp (2), Luke Dibley, Ben Antheney (2) and Callum Smith scored for Chippenham.

UNDER 11 BLUE DIVISION

Trowbridge Town Youth Reds adapted to the wind and heavy pitch better than visitors AFC Corsham but it still took them till midway through the half to take the lead.

Bradley Whitam picked up the ball on the edge of the area, moved in and chipped the keeper. Trowbridge quickly doubled their lead after a cross in was slotted home by Jordan-Lee Gullis. Early second half Otis Young made it 3-0 then Trowbridge eased off and let Corsham back in with a well-taken goal from Jordan Murphy. Trowbridge dug in and held on to their 3-1 lead until the final whistle.

UNDER 11 GREEN DIVISION

Shaw & Whitley took a 3-1 lead at the break in their home game against Westbury Youth. Westbury brought the game level at 3-3 at the final whistle to salvage a point from the game. Jordan Kirk (2) and Jonathan Cox scored for Shaw with Jake Ross Flynn Precup and DJ Wheeler replying for Westbury.
