IN response to J Clift's comments in last week's Wiltshire Times regarding Trowbridge Town Football Club and the Woodmarsh Playing Field at North Bradley.
I wholeheartedly agree with Mr Clift's comments regarding the need to find the appropriate location for Trowbridge Town Football Club.
However, I also feel for the nearby residents where TTFC are at present with regard to the noise as I've been told the noise from matches sometimes travels as far as Chantry Gardens, Southwick, so what must the nearby residents be experiencing?
I personally would be adverse having them play on my doorstep upsetting my quality time especially at weekends and more so de-valuing my property.
It appears the council have chosen the easy option by using the Woodmarsh field, however the easy option is not always the best one as surely it is now time a more appropriate site should be found as this problem has been ongoing for a considerable time.
