Premier Division leaders AFC Stratton could face a tough fixture at Corsham this weekend, writes RAY BURROUGHS.

The home side's strength fluctuates according to the first team's availability but no doubt they will field a strong squad against the leaders.

Stratton boss Stef Kuczynski, has said that there are no easy games for his side: "When you lead the table every side seems to put in a bit extra, we just need to keep winning."

Title rivals Trowbridge Town reached the final of the Wilts Senior Cup in midweek beating Hellenic League side Pewsey Vale 4-2 with goals from Gavin Eyre, Adam Nunn, Walid Bakali and Dave Percival.

Trowbridge boss Neil Kirkpatrick said: "I was proud of the lads, they fully deserved their victory, it was a good all-round performance.

"We have now got 10 league games to cram in before the final against Corsham, starting with Devizes Town Reserves this weekend."

Purton Reserves look to have a difficult fixture at Biddestone.

The home side have come good in recent weeks after a quiet spell and Ian Restell's troops will have to battle hard to come away with a result.

Cricklade Town, following their exciting 4-4 draw with Bradford last week, play local rivals Wroughton.

Town boss Graham Jackson was pleased with his side's efforts last week and must fancy his team's chances against Wroughton.

Mark Love, the new Wroughton manager, introduced several youngsters into the side in their last match and although beaten 3-0 he was delighted with the way they adapted to senior football.

Together with experienced players it should not be too long before the new boss chalks up his first victory.

Chiseldon Castrol are at home to Shrewton United and their recent revival can continue despite being up against one of the tightest defences in the Premier section.

Match of the day in Junior Division One could be the clash between Wanborough United and Bromham.

The visitors are second in the table, just a couple of points behind the leaders with Wanborough currently sitting in third spot.

Leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves will not find things all their own way against Westside, the Swindon side in mid-table have been known to cause a few upsets when they field their best 11.

Wootton Bassett United, still with an outside chance of overhauling the leaders visit Down Ampney and AFC Stratton Reserves are at home to Calne Town Reserves.

In Junior Division Two, leaders Trax and Swindon Asians are without a game but third-in-the-table New College have a home fixture with fourth-placed Blyskawica.

Three points for the College would put them a point behind the leaders with a game in hand but could face stiff opposition from the visitors who have been turning in some useful results recently.
