LIDEN Community were denied the top prize at the recent Stratton Juniors FC six-a-side tournament.
The under 11 team were beaten 2-0 by their Ferndale Rodbourne rivals in the final but their disappointment at missing out on the trophy was tempered by a meeting with former Swindon Town man and Jamaican international Fitzroy Simpson.
The Liden squad pictured right with Simpson are: Lawrie Smith, Bad Selmes, Ben Wells, Dan Billing, Tyler Lane, Jason McGovern, Jordan James and Aaron Mark.
