BALLOONS launched by workers at Trowbridge-based Virgin Mobile reached the continent as the company raised thousands of pounds for charity.
Biodegradable balloons were launched from the firm's base on White Horse Business Park, reaching mid Europe.
Money for Cancer Research UK was also raised through sponsorship funds, collected by employees running the Bath Half Marathon, sponsored head shaves, beard shaves and more. When all the sponsorship money and donations were added up, the total raised topped £6,000.
