28392Young swimmers from Melksham have become west Wiltshire champions.
Youngsters from Aloeric Primary School beat competition to be named overall winners at the West Wiltshire Swimming Gala.
Children from schools in Trowbridge, West-bury, Warminster and Bradford on Avon all took part in the event, which was held for the first time this year.
Thirty-two pupils from Aloeric, aged from seven to 11, took part in a variety of races, showing off their skills at breaststroke, back-stroke and front crawl, as well as competing in relays and medley relays.
