THE Swindon Well Woman Centre is trying to improve its appeal to people from ethnic minorities.
The centre, based at the Health Hydro in Milton Road, says only a small number of women from ethnic minorities use its health screening and advice services. A monthly health hour aimed at women from ethnic minority communities is currently held at the health centre in Carfax Street.
The health hour is collaboration between the Well Woman Centre and Swindon Primary Care Trust.
