FAST FOOD restaurant McDonald's in Trowbridge has been shortlisted for a top award in recognition of its efforts to help and support disabled employees.
The firm is on the shortlist for the eighth annual Leading the Way Awards, organised by Remploy, and is through to the Southern regional final being held in Oxford on September 10. The winner of the regional award will go through to the national final on October 19.
The judging panel assessed nominated employers on criteria including recruitment, training, access, support and opportunities available to disabled employees.
