POLICE in Trowbridge moved into their new station in Polebarn Road on Wednesday.
The two-storey building features open-plan office space, a major incident facility, a gym and a rest room.
Computers replace whiteboards, to prevent people seeing secret information and a new briefing room has fitted blinds so intelligence matters can be discussed. The building is fully alarmed, has CCTV cameras, panic alarms and sirens behind the front desk. The official opening will be on September 8.
