10896/6GAZETTE & HERALD: GLAMOUR model Lynsey Pearce is off to university to realise her dreams of becoming a police officer. But instead of taking out student loans, the brainy brunette will be paying for her studies with topless modelling assignments.

Miss Pearce, 21, of Victoria Drive, Lyneham, was first featured in the Gazette last September when she appeared in the Daily Sport newspaper. Her boyfriend at the time sent photographs to the paper and they promptly signed her up for a shoot.

Since then, she's split with her boyfriend, but her glamour career has really taken off with shoots for Max Power motoring magazine and appearances on Sky TV's Babecast. She is also currently awaiting a call up from The Sun, who "loved" her latest publicity photos.

But first and foremost in the ambitious model's mind is her hopes of entering the police force.

After an interview at Birkbeck University in London this week, she was offered a place to study science, majoring in chemistry, starting in January.

"I'm thrilled," she said. "I'm looking at doing a science degree and then going on to specialise in forensics and eventually I want to work for the police force in Wiltshire.

"I've always dreamed of joining the police and, although it will be a lot of study, I can't wait to join up."

Whereas most students will be washing dishes or working in burger bars to pay for their studies, Miss Pearce hopes to continue to pull in £300 a time from her saucy modelling shoots.

Each session takes up to four hours, including having her make-up and hair done, and to keep in shape she goes to the gym five times a week and does weight training.

"I recently did a shoot for the July issue of Max Power magazine which involved topless shots in the back of a limo with another girl," she said.

"The shoot was in Durham and they paid me expenses and £300.

"But I would be thrilled if the Sun wanted me to appear in The Sun is one of my all-time ambitions."

She has also appeared in men's magazine Club International and on the front page of the anniversary edition of an American glamour magazine and her agent is currently fielding even more job offers.

"I think I'm going to be studying for around seven years and I'm determined not to get into debt, so I will just keep on doing as much glamour modelling around my studies as I can," she added.

Proving that topless modelling isn't just for airheads, the busty brunette has a clutch of GSCEs and two A-levels from Wootton Bassett School and is confident she has what it takes to enter the specialist field of forensics.

"It will be tough, but I just want to do well and begin my career," she said.

"Being at university will be fun as well though. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of new people."

Asked what kind of reaction she thought her modelling would get from her fellow students, she said: "I expect some of the people I meet will be surprised when I say I'm a topless model, but most people are cool about it."

Miss Pearce first decided to give modelling a go after finishing an HND course in Sports Science at Swindon's New College and said she was nervous about undressing in front of the camera for the first time.

"There was a woman photographer and she made me feel really comfortable. I thought I would be embarrassed but I wasn't," she said.

Appearing in sexy poses in high profile publications and on television has also resulted in a growing army of fans.

"I didn't realise until recently but I've had quite a lot of letters after appearing on Babecast," she said.

"I read some of them and they had already written again asking why I had not replied I had to explain I didn't know I had fan mail.

"Most want me to send them signed pictures, which is nice, but it feels a little weird to have fans."

The 32C brunette also has the full support of her family and friends, and appearing topless in front of the nation has not even shocked her grandparents.

"They've been very supportive and my family is really chuffed that I'm now going to university," she said.
