EFFORTS to give both older and younger workers an even break have won a Swindon recruitment specialist a national award.
Blue Arrow, which has offices in Commercial Road, has been recognised in this year's Age Positive Recruitment Awards in the category for organisations with 100 or more employees.
It won because of its positive attitude, initiatives to promote recruitment of the old and young, and its strategies to address age discrimination.
It has set up partnerships with the Employers Forum on Age and the Third Age Employment Network.
Blue Arrow's head of diversity Roger Tweedy said: "We are extremely honoured that the work we are doing has been recognised by Age Positive."
