MID- WILTS YOUTH AND MINOR LEAGUE: CRICKLADE started well in their home game against Salisbury City Juniors in the under 17s Blue Division of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League, taking the lead with a powerful shot from Eddie Wilson.

Salisbury equalised with a well taken header from a corner before the home side regained the lead with a superb break and shot from Matthew Buck.

Cricklade came out for the second half fired up and scored a goal through a fine piece of individual skill from Jon Smith, who dribbled his way through the Salisbury defence before scoring.

After a period of sustained pressure Cricklade furthered their lead with a cross from the right which Wilson tapped in for his second. Cricklade continued to push forward and goals from Smith and Bobby Hunt saw them finish 6-1 winners.

Chippenham took the lead from the penalty spot in their home game against Marlborough Town and went on to dominate most of the game.

Chippenham pressed on but were caught on the break to level the game. Chippenham regained the lead with a second penalty then finished the game of with a 35 yard shot, giving Nathan Ingal his hat-trick.

Under 16s Blue Division

DEVIZES Town Youth move six points clear following their 3-1 win against visitors AFC Barbury in their top of the table clash.

The Devizes goals came from Luke Hopper, Tom Slater and an own goal, with Brewer replying for Barbury.

FC Chippenham earned their first points with a 1-0 win in a very closely fought game against Salisbury City Juniors. Jamie Fyall scored for Chippenham.

Under 16s Red Division

AFC CORSHAM moved up to third following their 5-3 home win against Melksham Park. Aaron Neal (3) and Michael Clarke (2) scored for Corsham.

The game between Rowde Youth and Marlborough Town was almost a non-starter due to the adverse weather conditions but both teams ploughed on. Rowde took the lead with an own goal and were 2-0 up at the break with a goal from Andy Cooke. Marlborough's defence held fast in the second half and pushed forward getting back into the game before drawing level to finish all square at 2-2.

Under 15s Red Division

A RYAN Stockley header gave Calne Town Youth a 1-0 half time lead in their game against Warminster Juniors. Luke Wooldridge furthered their lead in the second half to end the game at 2-0.

A hat-trick for Matt Steelyard secured the points for Castle Combe Colts in a very closely fought game against visitors Marlborough Town which ended 3-2 to Castle Combe.

Declan Burns and David Hogg scored for Marlborough.

Under 14s Green Division

DEVIZES Town Youth remain second following their 3-0 win at home to AFC Corsham. Goals came from Jack Case, Angus Webster and Rory Brown.

Under 14s Red Division

TOM Smith gave Melksham Town Youth a 1-0 lead at the interval in their game against visitors FC Chippenham Youth.

The game was very even throughout and remained at 1-0 until the last two minutes when Jack Tyzak-Smith scored the equaliser.

Under 13s Blue Division

SEVEN goals from seven different scorers saw Castle Combe Colts run out 7-1 winners at home to Calne Town Youth.

Tom Bull, Craig Archard, James Harding, Matthew Loft, Matthew Jenkins, Luke Dibley and Georgie Nash scored for Castle Combe with Sam Paget replying for Calne.

Under 12s Blue Division

THERE was very little to choose between Trowbridge Wanderers and visitors AFC Corsham and they produced an entertaining display of football.

Trowbridge who took advantage of an injury hit Corsham defence to score three goals in ten minutes to leave Corsham shell-shocked.

Corsham hit back and Will Crosby added to Smith's double after a great solo run to make it 3-3 at the interval.

Wanderers took the lead from a corner but Smith equalised when he completed his hat-trick, his second in successive games. With five minutes remaining, Corsham captain Sam Thomson took a speculative shot from outside the box which was deflected off a Trowbridge defender to give Corsham their third successive win.

Under 12s Green Division

CALNE Town Youth took a 2-0 lead at the break in their home game against Westbury Youth.

The second half produced even play with both sides netting one each to seal the final result at 3-1 to Calne.

Josh Archer (2) and Ben Redford scored for Calne.

Castle Combe Colts went 1-0 up at Melksham Town Youth when Will Barendt got on the end of a cross from Michael Hill. Melksham drew level before the break with a fine strike from Jordan Kirk.

Jack Paterson regained the lead for the visitors who then held on until the last three minutes when Kirk scored his second to level the game at the final whistle.

Under 11s Green Division

DEVIZES Town Youth earned their first points of the season with a 7-3 win away to Trowbridge Wanderers.

Declan McEnrie (2), Rory Collins (2), Daniel Ralph (2) and Ben List scored for Devizes.

Under 11s Red Division

FIRST half goals from Ben Deugo and Thomas Sigee were enough to secure a 2-0 home win for Calne Town Youth against Trowbridge Wanderers.

Under 11s Yellow Division

THE game between Chippenham Town Rangers and visitors Pewsey Vale was level at 3-3 midway through the second half when Pewsey were awarded a penalty which changed the game.

Pewsey took the lead from the spot kicck before going on to finish 5-3 winners. Tom Pinder (2), Stuart Mackin, Chris Milne and Ross Cambell scored for Pewsey, with David Giles, Nathan Merritt and Curtis Small replying for Rangers.

Under 10s Blue Division

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth Cougars matched visitors Castle Combe in all departments and the score line was 0-0 at half-time.

The second half was a display of commitment and skill from both sides, with Castle Combe scoring late into the half through Charlie Austin.

Trowbridge fought back strongly but were denied by excellent saves from the Colts goalkeeper. Austin scored again near the end to make it 2-0.

Under 10s Red Division

GOALS from Matthew Strevens (4), Jordan O'Dwyer (2) and Tom McDonagh were enough to secure a 7-3 home win for Derry Hill United against Bradford on Avon.

Under 10s Yellow Division

BROMHAM Youth took a 1-0 lead at the break in their midtable clash against Castle Combe Colts.

The game could have gone either way but they shared the spoils with a 3-3 final score. Matthew Lawrence, Elsie Simms and Tom Alsop scored for Bromham, with Ryan Ross replying with a hat-trick for Castle Combe.

Worton and Cheverell earned their first points of the season with a 3-0 win at home to Melksham Park. Worton's goals came from David Bromley (2) and an own goal.

Under Nines Blue Division

FC CHIPPENHAM Youth moved up to joint first following their 2-0 win away to Melksham Park.

Bath Arsenal share the top slot following their 3-1 away win against Devizes Town Youth, with Bradley Hill scoring for Devizes.

Chippenham Town Youth ran out 3-1 winners away to Castle Combe Colts.

AFC Corsham Jaguars took a 3-0 lead into the second half of their away game against Trowbridge Wanderers Orange, with goals from Alex Bitton (2) and Jordan Dick.

Wanderers held fast in the second half with one reply seeing the game end at 3-1 to the Jaguars.
