KENNET Action for Single Homeless (KASH) threw open its doors for people to find out about the work it does.
KASH held an open day last Thursday at its offices and drop-in centre in Station Road, Devizes.
Videos and displays were played and visitors were shown around and also met clients, staff and volunteers.
KASH manager Val Cragg said: "It was a brilliant day and we had a good variety of visitors. We wanted to break down some of the barriers about the perception of homeless people to show that they are normal people.
"KASH has been in Devizes for 12 years and we opened the drop-in centre two years ago but local people did not know much about the work we do.
"In the past two years KASH has developed. We also have two houses providing supported accommodation and training for young people as they prepare to move on to independent living."
