14248/2FOR their 55th annual exhibition members of Marlborough Artists decided on some changes. Traditionally the art group, whose members have to live within 25 miles of Marlborough, held their exhibitions in St Peter's Church.
This year it was held in the Bouverie Hall in Pewsey which, said member Michael Power, turned out to be an excellent exhibition venue.
Mr Power said: "We are experimenting by trying a range of venues."
Another departure for the group was to donate a percentage of the proceeds of sales towards a charity, in this case the Prospect Hospice.
More than 140 pictures and some ceramics were exhibited on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The exhibits included the winners in a competition run by the group for students at St John's School.
