A MIX-UP, which resulted in a pensioner receiving letters from Swindon Council addressed to his dead wife, has been sorted out.
Former RAF serviceman Jim Broadfoot, of Bruton Walk, Park South, broke down in tears every time he received mail.
Following a meeting with council chiefs no more letters have been sent. The pair were married for 49 years.
