I was privileged to watch the Pegasus Brass Band at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon and I was overwhelmed to see the quality of the band and the age ranges incorporated.
The portfolio of music ranged from the classical Lawrence Of Arabia to a tribute to Euro 2004.
The youth of today get a lot of criticism from all classes of society and to see young people playing such a well polished repertoire restored my faith in the youth of today.
My godson, his brother and father play in the band and I know the dedication they all put in.
John Winterflood must be congratulated in dedicating so much time to the youth and the adult band.
I hope that the band continues and that the little lad with the red cornet grows up to be proud of his links with Pegasus.
