GAZETTE & HERALD: After three years of successful Sutton Benger Extravaganzas, festival mastermind Trevor Knowlden is bringing the idea of a nightclub to the village hall for Christmas.
Mr Knowlden is planning to turn Sutton Benger's village hall into a London-esque nightclub for the whole community on Saturday, December 18.
Mr Knowlden explained the idea: "We are bringing a couple of bands down and turning the village hall into a night club.
"We have room for 300 people in the marquee and hall and there will be a bar and hog roast."
Mr Knowlden said he hopes groups from the village and the surrounding area will all celebrate in one large Christmas party.
"People say they think it's a village thing, but it's not. I am offering a facility that you would see in London.
"We have just done Richard Branson's private party and are bringing the same kind of thing to Sutton Benger. It will be a good night and the atmosphere will be awesome."
Tickets are available from the ticket hotline on 07905383195 at £10 each.
