SWINDON have been handed a tricky home tie in the third round of rugby's Powergen Junior Vase.

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division side will host Bristol side Gordano at Greenbridge Road on November 6.

Swindon walloped Poole by more than 100 points in last weekend's second round tie but Gordano are likely to prove a much more difficult prospect.

However, their start to the league campaign has been less than impressive they lie bottom of the Somerset Premier Division with just one win from five so far.

The only other local side still with an interest in the competition Marlborough will have to hit the road for their third round tie.

They have been drawn to face Bridport, following their 11-5 win over local rivals Supermarine last weekend.
