TROWBRIDGE LEAGUE: TWO goals from Alex Edwards ended Seend United's unbeaten top flight record as Bradford United, fielding six reserve players, hit back twice to win 3-2.

A Mark Newman penalty gave Seend the lead, only for Paul Tunnell to level before the break. A Dan Weeks' header from a corner restored Seend's lead but Edwards' double secured a fine victory.

Calne Eagles chairman Tim Storey scored his first goal to double Dan Thompson's direct from a first-minute corner before Hilperton United Reserves replied through a Sam Ghey penalty.

On a superb surface at Stanley Park, Shaun Jefferies restored Eagles' two-goal cushion before Hilperton, with a second response from an excellent Jake Wayman lob, had the high-flying newcomers hanging on at the end.

A fourth double strike of the season, including a penalty from Dave Greenwood, opened up a two-point advantage for leaders St Andrews for whom Will Darsley, John Kay and Ewan Maynard also netted in a 5-2 win over fellow newcomers FC Chippenham. Lee Blackmore and Andy Churcher pulled goals back for Chippenham.

In Division Two, Bratton, through Tim Beecham, Ben McKee and Dave Jones, hit back three times to share the spoils in a 3-3 draw with Castle Combe Reserves.

In Division One, North Bradley Saints and Rudloe fired a six-goal warning to champions Gifford.

Saints Andy Colebrooke, Brent Murden and Richard Bliha crowned a superb first half display against Warminster Town Reserves, who suffered again after the break from substitutes Scott Askew (2) and Paul Riley.

Two goals from Tom Smith and one apiece from Simon Young, Dan Young, Jason Walsh and Liam Ralph completed a 6-0 win as well for under-strength Rudloe over visitors Heytesbury.
