IT WAS not the vote he was waiting for but US President George Bush has been named Movie Villain of the Year.
The US leader has been awarded the title for his part in Michael Moore's controversial documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.
Bush's presidential rival John Kerry was not in the shortlist, but Bush has managed to beat four other contenders to the movie title, including evil atomic scientist Doctor Octopus.
Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina, is the frightening metal-tentacled madman who does his best to wreak havoc on the world in Spider-Man 2. Bush was also deemed a better baddie than Leatherface, the chainsaw-wielding cannibal in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in the Total Film magazine poll.
