If my life had turned out differently, I could have easily ended up being reliant on the goodwill of volunteers. That's why I'm urging your readers to register for CSV Make a Difference Day before time runs out.
The day, which takes place on Saturday and is supported by Barclays, is the UK's biggest day of 'hands-on' volunteering. Around 100,000 are expected to take part this year.
