A SWINDON man is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and threatening to kill her.
Antonio De Brito Lourenco, 30, of Armstrong Street, Gorse Hill, appeared before town magistrates yesterday.
The alleged incident took place on Tuesday evening at an address in Park North - home of the victim, his former girlfriend, Sarah Turner.
Lourenco denies both charges.
Magistrates said the allegations were so serious that the case had to be committed to Swindon Crown Court for trial.
He was remanded in custody until the hearing on November 4.
