A location of natural beauty with attractive formal gardens surrounding an 18th century house. The museum features agricultural and rural life displays in a historic thatched building, woodland walks and an animal park.
The gardens have greenhouses containing Lackham's famous giant lemons. The site is also now a countryside college and holds interesting events throughout the year including kite-flying and a model railway show.
Open: April 11-August 31 Sundays and Bank Holidays. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday during August, 10am-5pm.
