Cricklade were held to a 1-1 draw by Melksham despite going in a goal up courtesy of top striker Ally Ross.

Melksham looked stronger after the break and Jamie Cheeseman levelled.

Cricklade manager Graham Jackson said he was disappointed with his sides performance in the second half and added: "We were just not good enough on the day, we didn't play well as a team and we needed to win, one point was not good enough we have just got to keep going now and finish as high as we can."

New College failed to turn their possesion into goals and finished sharing the points with visitors Malmesbury in a 1-1 draw.

The home side took the lead with a strike from Jamie Hamridge just before the interval but James Hutton snatched an equaliser.

Manager Pete Horwat said: "It's all about scoring goals, you can't win matches unless you put the ball into the net. We had loads of possesion then made a mistake at the back and it's cost us."

League leaders Bradford Town strengthened their position at the top with a 3-1 win at Bromham.

Calne beat Purton Reserves 5-0. The visitors went in at the break a goal down scored by Chris Jones.

The home side took control after the break and added four goals from Chris King, Steve Davies, Marcus Neil and Tim Tasker.

Warminster beat Pewsey 3-0 thanks to a first-half penalty from Tom Welch and goals from Matthew Burton and Jason Guy.

Castle Combe, unbeaten in the league this season lost 2-1 at Blunsdon in the semi-final of the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup.

Goals from Liam Sutton, Nick Carter and Steve Stewart gave AFC Stratton Reserves a 3-0 away win at Minety and Blyskawica beat Stratton Rovers 2-1, Ben Hollick and Dave Jones on target with Ashley Channing netting for the Rovers.

A second-half goal from Dave Rendell gave Westside a 1-0 win at West Swindon and Biddestone did well to beat Marlborough on their own ground 2-1, Pete Day for the home side and Arron Pearce and Anthony Snoddy for the visitors.Wroughton and Aldbourne shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

County Ground were the day's highest scorers beating Blunsdon Reserves 7-0 in Junior Two Paul Loveridge (3), Kevin Taylor (2), Dean Hughes and Pete York the scorers.

Two goals from Seth Palmer and one each from Gareth Parry, Nick Camden and Alex Woolhouse helped Chiseldon Castrol to a 5-0 away win over Dynamobury and Pinhurst OB were also among the goals beating Stratton Rovers Reserves 5-1 Shane Davies (2), Roger Mundy, Steve Challinor and Arron Welland on target.

Barron Heating beat Chippenham United 3-0 on their own ground thanks to goals from Arron Wilson (2) and Danny Scotford.

Simon Dyminsky scored the only goal for Stratton St Margaret against Westside and Rob Cunningham hit a hat-trick for AFC Rodbourne in their 4-2 win against Wroughton Reserves, Neal Lee adding a fourth.
