MY son bought me a set of 10 solar lights for Easter as I love these lights in my garden but while I was away for two nights someone came into my garden, which was trespassing anyway, and stole seven of them.

They also took some I had put under a tree in memory of my late husband.

I hope the parents and grandparents who have suddenly got solar lights in their garden feel ashamed that they have brought children up to do this kind of thing.

I hope when the police catch them they will be named and shamed.

We are all old people round here and don't feel safe in our beds knowing people are roaming around our property.

If they can walk in and take these things they can walk in and bring them back.
