MATCHMAKER Gill MacKenzie will be hoping love is firmly on the menu when she launches the first speed dating event to be held in Wootton Bassett.
Mrs MacKenzie, who lives just off the High Street, has planned a romantic evening at Delicia's Wine Bar in Borough Fields on April 19 where the lonely hearted will get the chance to meet other singletons.
She said: "Everyone will get a drink on arrival and the idea is to then sit all the women down. The men can then walk around and they get a three-minute interview with each followed by a 15-minute interval."
Everyone will be given a number along with their name badge plus a tick sheet where they can mark which people they like. At the end of the night Mrs MacKenzie will compare the information and pass on the contact details for where the ticks match up.
The evening runs from 7pm to 10pm with places for up to 40 men and women aged between 24 and 45.
