OFFERS of goodies for auction are coming in thick and fast for a fund raising event in Marlborough this month.
The !Hola Honduras evening is being staged at St Peter's Church on April 15, starting at 8pm, to help fund a scientific opportunity of a lifetime for 16 students from the town's St John's School.
The students need to raise £2,000 each to cover the costs of travelling to Honduras in the summer, when they will spend two weeks living under canvas and working alongside international scientists in the country's endangered rainforest.
Tickets for !Hola Honduras are £12 to include dinner, a glass of punch and music to the popular local jazz band The Overtones.
There will also be an auction of promises featuring goodies such as a week's break in a house in France, a day's yachting for five people and a day on the gallops plus lunch.
