LABOUR MP Julia Drown will join a protest against the development of Swindon on Saturday.
The demonstration by the Swindon Together On Planning aims to raise awareness of the opposition to building on the countryside surrounding the town.
Organiser Alan Hayward said he was expecting a big turnout for the march with people keen to express their feelings on proposals such as the planned development at Coate.
"We had 1,000 people at the one last year and we're hoping for as many as possible this time," he said.
"There's so much people can do but it's up to them to come out on Saturday and support it.
"This time we'll have people from other places in Wiltshire who are all concerned about the expansion of the town on the surrounding villages."
The STOP march will meet at 11am on Saturday at Faringdon Road Park, in Swindon.
