DEVZES were forced to work hard for the victory which clinched the U13 Red Division at Nursteed Road on a super Sunday.

Tom Beer gave Warminster United Youth the lead in their championship decider, but Devizes battled back and were level at half time through a Jack Hopper strike.

The second half saw Devizes take the lead when Jake Roberts converted from the penalty spot before Jake Waters secured this season's title with a third for the hosts.

Melksham Park Youth finished their season with an 8-0 away win against Sherston Youth.

U17 League Cup

CORSHAM held on to beat Marlborough in the U17 League Cup despite having a man sent off in the second half.

Corsham converted an early corner to take the lead at Marlborough, who then missed two good chances to level before Corsham made it 2-0 with their sharp reaction to a free kick.

On the half hour Will Bryant pulled a goal back from a great cross by Rob Hickin and the game became tighter and hotly contested.

Marlborough had the lion's share of possession in the closing stages with a red card reducing Corsham to ten men. They pressed hard but did not find an equaliser, leaving Corsham 2-1 winners.

U16 Red Division

AMESBURY came into this game needing only a point to secure the league title but finished the season in style with a 3-2 victory over Warminster.

Amesbury took the game by the scruff of the neck and went full throttle at Warminster scoring early through Harry Gale as he slotted the ball under the keeper.

Amesbury continued to press and as Warminster pushed out Amesbury sprung the offside trap leaving Nathan Strong one on one with the keeper.

Strong was never going to back out of the challenge and as they both got to the ball Strong won it and walked it into the empty net.

Amesbury took a little breather before turning up the pressure again and with a free kick just inside the Warminster half. A beautiful ball over the defence found Strong alone and he met the ball heading home to make it 3-0.

Warminster to their credit did not give up and were awarded a penalty just before half time which Steven Lisowski converted to make it 3-1.

In the second half Amesbury continued to play good football but with nothing to lose Warminster pressed on leaving gaps, which the Amesbury attack failed to exploit. With three minutes left to play Warminster were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. They played a cheeky soft pass into the box where in the goalmouth scramble the ball was forced home by Nick Sleeman.

Trowbridge Town Youth ran out 11-1 winners at home to Marlborough Town leaving them needing a two clear goal win in their last game to finish runners up. Dan Kovaks (7), Dan Barnet and Mike Perrit (3) scored for Trowbridge.

U15 Blue Division

AFC Corsham gave a great team performance against division leaders Chippenham Town Youth.

Chippenham raced into a 2-0 lead before Sam Bliss put Corsham back in the game before the interval.

Bliss then brought the game level at 2-2 in the second half before Chippenham went on to finish 4-2 winners. Greenmeadow Youth took a 3-1 lead at the break in their entertaining game with Frome Town Sports.

Frome battled back into the game in the second half bringing the game level before going on to lead at 4-3.

Greenmeadow kept up the pressure and before long were back in the game at 4-4.

The last five minutes of the game saw Frome regain control of the game as it swang back in their favour for a 6-4 victory. Josh Little (2), Jamie Richards and Andrew Jeffries scored for Greenmeadow.

U15 Green Division

MELKSHAM Town Youth secured this season's title with three games left to play after running out 12-0 winners at home to Amesbury Juniors.

Melksham saw goals from Andy Robins (2), Shaun Benison (3), Luke Bennet (2), Will Hibard, Ross Crighton and a second hat trick in as many weeks for Pete Tye.

Pewsey Vale finished 8-2 winners against Worton and Cheverell in their penultimate game of the season thanks to goals from Zak Mayer (3), Max Wood (2), Gary Powell, Nick Patel and Mikael Kiviniemi.

Westbury Youth enhanced their chance of runners up slot with a narrow away win against fellow contenders Devizes Blues.

An outstanding save from the Westbury keeper kept the game goalless going into the break and ten minutes after the restart David Walton scored the winning goal.

U15 Red Division

THE championship decider between Trowbridge Wanderers and Calne Town Youth did not fail to live up to expectations.

Sam Stevens scored the only goal of the first half giving Wanderers the lead.

Calne brought the top-of-the-table clash level after the break before strikes from both sides took the score to 2-2. Ten minutes from the final whistle Calne Town Youth scored the winning goal to claim this season's title, 3-2. Calne saw goals from Matt Lewis (2) and Freddie Paget with Stevens scoring Wanderers second.

U14 Red Division

AMESBUY Juniors 2nds ran out 5-2 winners away to White Horse Juniors.

James Wright (3) and James Kenny (2) scored for Amesbury with Dan Hayes and Dan Boyle replying for White Horse.

U14 Subsidary Cup

ED Wilkins opened the scoring for Bradford on Avon against Amesbury Juniors with a well-executed goal finishing off with a low shot into the bottom right hand corner when one on one with the keeper.

Jim Gough scored Bradford's second as the ball bounced to him from a free kick for a simple tap in before Amesbury replied quickly to make the score line 2-1 at the break.

Amesbury came out on the attack from the restart and were soon rewarded with a well-taken goal.

Amesbury had their tails up and were attacking with commitment looking for the winner when the ball was cleared by Bradford and taken through the heart of Amesbury's defence and finished with a scorching right foot drive by Tim Johns giving Bradford their place in this season's final.

U13 Blue Division

HOSTS Castle Combe Colts shared the spoils with Westbury Youth after their 3-3 draw in midweek.

Jack Coxall scored all three goals for Westbury including one from the penalty spot.

Trowbridge Wanderers took a 5-0 lead at the break in their away game against Calne Town Youth after dominating play.

Sam Paget scored for Calne in the second half with Wanders scoring again to finish 6-1 winners.

FC Chippenham ran out winners at home to Castle Combe Colts with Sibbick making it 1-0 at the break and Webb completing the scoring in the second half for a 2-0 final score.

FC Chippenham's midweek action away to Team Bath Futures saw them take all three points with a 4-0 win.

U12 Subsidary Cup

CHIPPENHAM Town Youth ended with ten men due to injuries in their subsidiary cup quarter final with Melksham Park.

Both sides played flowing football but it was Melksham who went on top taking a 2-0 lead.

But Chippenham kept battling and were rewarded just before half time through Richard Bray who was played in by a great header from his strike partner Olly Webb.

Olly Emerson in the Chippenham goal kept his side in the game with some fantastic saves matched by the Melksham keeper.

Chippenham equalised with a goal from Webb but Melksham piled on the pressure scoring a further three.

With five minutes left on the watch Chippenham were down to ten men after Michael Brewer and the goalie Emerson went off injured.

Alex Jenkins took over in goal and managed to make a few saves before the final whistle blew.

Chippenham made chances but could not capitalise as Melksham were deserved 5-2 winners.

Melksham will play Trowbridge Wanderers in the semi final after they ran out 2-1 winners against local rivals Trowbridge Town Youth Blues.

Trowbridge Town Youth Reds will play Amesbury Juniors in the other semi final tie after they ran out 5-0 winners away to an under strength AFC Corsham.

Josh Ferguson, Mitchell Spackman, Otis Young, Bradley Whitam and Jordan Lee-Gullis scored for the Reds with Steve Oakley named as man-of-the-match.

Amesbury Juniors booked their place in the semi final with a convincing 20-0 home win against Castle Combe Colts.

U11 Division B

BOTH White Horse Juniors and Westbury Youth played well from the first to the final whistle.

Home side White Horse scored two in the first half as well as having chances that were saved by the Westbury keeper.

Westbury had a couple of chances in the first half but could not make them count. The start of the second half saw Westbury score twice in fairly quick succession dominating the game storming into a 4-2 lead.

White Horse dug deep hitting the post and just missing out on a one on one with the keeper before scoring their third.

In the final minutes of the game White Horse were awarded a penalty ending the game all square at 4-4.

The White Horse goals were scored by Ben Wickens (2) and Max Bush (2).

U11 Division C

TROWBRIDGE Wanderers went into their game against Calne knowing they need three points to secure this seasons title.

A goal from the penalty spot for Callum Pocock settled a nervous first half for Wanderers.

Pocock then increased Wanderers lead in the second half with a fine strike before Calne were back in the game making it 2-1 through Ben Deugo.

Wanderers saw out a very nervous last ten minutes as Calne attacked relentlessly but held on to win the game and clinch this season's Division C title.

Wanderers still could have lost out if Derry Hill had won their game against Pewsey Vale by more than ten clear goals but the final score of 8-4 to Derry Hill was not enough to bring the title to North Wiltshire.
