CALNE made it five victories in a row on Saturday with a demolition job at Weston St Johns.

Four unanswered goals gave boss Kelvin Highmore reason to be pleased with his team.

The deadlock was broken on 33 minutes as Steve Casey poked home from eight yards after James Lye played a quick corner kick to Darren Smart, who rifled the ball low into the box.

The second half saw Weston come close when Smart headed a goal-bound Damian Bromley header off the line on 52 minutes shortly before Ben Moore tapped in a rebound after a Lye free kick deceived the Weston goalkeeper and came off the post.

The victory was sealed on 66 minutes when some quick passing between Lye and substitute Glenn Armstrong played in Matt Pratley who slid the ball home.

Kevin Banks then put the gloss on the scoreline with five minutes left after Armstrong had played him through.

Highmore, said: "I was pleased with the result and the team, we played well.

"They tried to make things difficult with a 4-5-1 formation which sometimes seemed like 3-6-1.

"All credit to the lads. We got the ball down and played when we could and did what was necessary to win."
