THE Heath Lambert insurance group has appointed Stephen Wood as the managing director in Swindon.
The move is tied to the recent launch of a unified national strategy for the group's UK branch network under one core brand, Heath Lambert National.
Heath Lambert says it is planning to expand its presence in the small-to-mid market sector.
Stephen's role includes developing the group's presence and activity in the south west, plus Swindon and London.
He brings with him more than 30 years experience in the underwriting, broking and risk consulting industries, in the UK and overseas.
He said: "At a time of increased centralisation from service providers, corporate insurance buyers are increasingly looking for a broker who can provide a genuinely independent and personal service from a strong and committed team."
