DEVON side Elmore are facing fines of up to £2,000 after calling off their match at Westbury United twice in five days.
Elmore called off Saturday's game at 10.30am on Saturday, claiming they had only eight players available and the match was rearranged for Wednesday evening.
But only two hours before the kick-off Elmore officials contacted Westbury and said they did not have enough players.
On Tuesday night however Elmore had raised a team and beat Minehead 5-2.
League secretary Ken Clarke said yesterday: "We are deeply concerned about the situation, which is highly unsatisfactory.
"The league will be investigating the circumstances of the two postponements and Elmore are facing the prospect of substantial fines. The maximum fine for each postponement is £1,000."
The match has yet to be rearranged.
