A JAZZ musician who has returned to west Wiltshire after touring with Sting said he is looking forward to performing in his home town.
Jason Rebello, who lives in Bradford on Avon, played alongside the rock legend for 18 months, and shared the stage with a variety of celebrities, including Elton John, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
Mr Rebello, 36, was this week preparing to play a one-off concert at the Wiltshire Music Centre on Wednesday, and admitted he is excited about the change of setting.
"I have been playing with Sting for about six years now, but I'm really enjoying playing jazz again and have had a new lease of life," he said.
"It's really good because after you've done something as big as that you come back to doing the smaller things and you really enjoy the intimacy of them."
Mr Rebello said the length of the tour was made easier by the laid-back set up and his family's regular visits.
"It was really good fun. Sting's a really nice guy, although he's very quiet," he said.
"Some stars have big entourages but he's quite a private man and he does not have loads of people going around. He just blends in. It was a very relaxed group of people, with lots of families around. I feel I've had a good experience doing it but it's probably time to do something else."
