I WAS visiting my mother over Easter. She lives off the Hilperton Road and sometimes needs to cross over to get to the post office on St Thomas Road.
For elderly people crossing that very busy road it is a nightmare! There is a very long stretch with no pedestrian crossing. To walk up and back to Victoria Road makes an excessively long journey.
In view of the fact that there are others in my mother's predicament, and volume of traffic is increasing, I hope that the Trowbridge planners see fit to ease the difficulties for getting across the road before too long.
