Don't be surprised if you see Tony Bedwell out shopping for a long grey woollen coat before long.

It seems the manager of Green Baize is slowly morphing into Jose Mourinho.

After leading his side to the Wiltshire Sunday Cup last week, Bedwell like his Portugese role model is looking to secure the second leg of a remarkable treble this weekend.

His team face familiar opposition in the Sunday League knockout cup final stablemates Green Baize United.

Obviously Bedwell is playing down his side's chances and is full of respect for the challenge of their lower league colleagues.

"I'll be disappointed if we don't beat them by eight," he said.

And you can't tell whether he's joking or not. His side certainly start as favourites.

They face a play-off with County Ground for the Sunday League Division Two title next week, while United are top dogs in Division Eight.

Bedwell's boys are brimming with talented teenagers and their opponents led by Pat Slattery are practically a team of veterans.

But it will be closer than Bedwell predicts.

A seasoned United outfit proved their pedigree by knocking out Greyhound in a previous round.

Former Swindon Town player Ray Bavertsock is one of their experienced campaigners.

The ex-Supermarine manager is Bedwell's business partner and believes his mate could be in for a rude awakening.

"He (Bedwell) is taking it very seriously. His players have a 48-hour curfew.

"It's the princes against the paupers but I think it will be close.

"I can see it going to extra-time and then our superior fitness will make the difference."

The final takes place at Supermarine, kick-off 10.30am.
