New College, Calne and Corsham all had their midweek games called off due to the weather, putting more pressure on the sides in the run-up to the end of the Wilts Premier campaign, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
New College would appear to have the hardest challenge taking on long-time leaders Bradford Town, who are second in the table with just one game to play.
College boss Pete Horwat said: "It's the biggest game of the season for the lads, we know what they are like and we know what we can do and I think we are in with a shout.
"We beat them 3-2 in a cracking game earlier in the season and I can see this match being just as close. We just have to win our remaining three games and you never know."
Cricklade Town, another club in with a faint chance of the title, visit Bromham in their last but one game and it could be a tough one.
Although the home side have gone off the boil in recent games they are still capable of upsetting the visitors' bid for honours.
Calne Town, third in the table with a couple of games to go, travel to Warminster and could face stiff opposition from the home side who always raise their game the tougher the opposition.
AFC Stratton who had their midweek game called off entertain Devizes Town and will be keen to end the season on a high note after a couple of recent losses.
Malmesbury Vics entertain leaders Corsham Town and although the chasing pack will be hoping for an upset, the visitors should chalk up another three points.
In the closest finish to the Premier Division for several seasons Corsham head the table with 61 points from 27 games, Bradford have 60 points from 29, Calne in third spot have 59 points from 28 the same as Cricklade who are in fourth spot on goal difference.
At the other end of the table Purton Reserves have completed their fixtures and finish bottom six points behind Malmesbury Vics.
Down Apmney are Junior Division One champions with four clubs chasing the runners-up spot.
Wroughton, in fifth place, take on second in the table Swindon Asians, AFC Stratton Reserves in fourth place visit Minety and third placed Westside play Blyskawica.
Wilts Junior Cup winners Castle Combe look the likely champions of Junior Two with long time leaders Abbey Rodbourne destined for runners-up spot. Castle Combe visit Westside Reserves and Abbey are at home to Chiseldon Castrol.
